Flight Training

Want to learn to fly? Flying is a great experience. Best way to find out is to come out and take an introductory flight lesson. You’ll get to handle the controls yourself under the watchful eye of a certified flight instructor. Know someone who would like to try it? We offer gift certificates for introductory flights. They make a great gift.

Private Pilot Training

The private pilot course generally takes 45-60 hours of flight time (airplane and simulator). How long depends on the individual student. To obtain the Private License a student must pass a physical, a written test and a flight test. We recommend a “formal” ground school to learn about the basic aviation subject knowledge required of a private pilot. See “Training” tab for ground school info.

Instrument Rating

With our Garmin 530 equipped Cessna Superhawk and our ATD flight simulator (Garmin 430 equipped) we provide a comprehensive instrument program. Combined with the weather in the Northwest this gives pilots one of the best instrument training experiences in the country. The ATD provides training that can’t be done in the airplane and Mother Nature provides the “actual” conditions.

IFR Currency

Our simulator meets requirements for IFR Currency- and saves you a lot of gas! Instructor and Sim $85/hr.

CFI- CFII Training

Having trouble finding experienced instructors for a CFI or CFII course? We can help, our instructors have years of experience.
